William Michael Howell, age 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa, IA. He was born December 9, 1955 in Chariton, Iowa to William “Bill” and Joyce Howell. Mike grew up in Afton, Centerville and Humeston, Iowa. He was a 1974 graduate of Morman Trail High School. He worked as a Journeyman Press Operator in Phoenix, Connecticut, Cedar Rapids and Des Moines. Mike’s hobbies were golfing and spending time with his friends.
He was married to Carla Goering and Gail Shipley Stoddard.
Mike was preceded in death by Parents William “Bill” and Joyce Howell and Grandparents William and Sophronia Howell and Floyd and Averil Surbaugh.
Mike is survived by brothers Jeffrey of Phoenix, AZ, Pat (Betty) of Sugar Land, TX and Timothy of Chariton, Ia. He is also survived by Travis (Jessica) Neer and Lindsay (Seth)Westfall along with 6 grandchildren. Additionally he is survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and countless Friends.
