Wanda Jean (Blackstock) Krutsinger - Gillham

Wanda Jean (Blackstock) Krutsinger - Gillham, 94, passed away September 10, 2023 at the Chariton Specialty Care in Chariton , Iowa.  Wanda was born on October 24, 1928 in Henry County, Iowa to Lloyd Clifford and Velda Audrey (Morrow) Blackstock. She attended and graduated from Chariton High School in 1946.

 In November of 1946, she married Cliff Anderson. To this union 6 children were born, Thomas, Teresa, James, David Debra, Sandra. Wanda worked hard providing and taking care of her family as an nursing assistant and a homemaker. She was an only children but had a big family of her own. In December of 1962, Wanda married Earl  Krutsinger until his passing in August 27, 1988.  In 1992, she met and married Lyle Gillham. They loved to travel in the winter time to Arizona. They moved back to Chariton in 2006.  Lyle passed away in August 21, 2013. Wanda moved to Homestead, she lived there for 9 years until her health deteriorated. Wanda needed more care so she move to Chariton Specialty Care for a short time until her passing.

Wanda enjoyed and loved visits from her family especially all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and she will be remembered and missed always.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Velda Blackstock, her sons, Thomas and James Anderson, her husbands, Cliff Anderson, Earl Krutsinger, Lyle Gillham, her twin grandsons, Richard and Robert Allen.

Wanda is survived by her children, Teresa Anderson, David Krutsinger, Debra (Kirby) Baumert, Sandra (Larry) McGee, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A private family service will be held at the Chariton Cemetery in Chariton, Iowa. Under the direction of Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton Iowa.  On line condolence may be left at www.fieldingfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be given to the family.
