Tammy Jean Rasmus, 48, of Chariton, Iowa passed away on June 1, 2017.

Tammy was born on September 18, 1968 in Chariton, Iowa to Wilmer Stephen (Steve) Rasmus and Wilma Heidman (Rasmus).

Tammy graduated from Chariton High School and lost her mother Wilma in her early twenty's. Tammy was fortunate enough to spend her life around her father Steve, step mother Nola Rasmus, sister Terry Stansbery, step brother Brady Rasmus, and later down the road came her two kids.

Tammy loved to spend time with her son Daniel Rasmus and daughter Maicy Rasmus along with other family members and friends. Tammy also loved to spend time outside, such as going on a walk, watering her flowers, or anything that was outdoors related.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother and great grandparents Wilmer Rasmus, Glendola Rasmus, Bill Heidman, and Laura Heidman. She was survived by her father Steve Rasmus, step mother Nola, son Daniel (Michelle) Rasmus, daughter Maicy Rasmus, step brother Brady (Jennifer) Rasmus, sister Terry Stansbery. Also granddaughter Addison Rasmus, nephews Brandon Terrell, Jeff Terrell, and Ryan Terrell. She leaves behind many family members and friends who will remember her for who she was. We will miss you dearly and you will forever be in our hearts.
