Shaun (Cruiser) Willett, 54, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the Chariton Specialty Care.  Shaun was born on January 4, 1967 in Chariton, Iowa  to Fredrick (Fred) and Letitia (DeWester) Willet. He lived in Chariton Iowa all his life.

Shaun kept busy, he was a hard worker, he helped Ted Reed or anyone needing a hand. He helped out with Detasseling corn, bailing hay, tending to cattle, and worked at the apple Orchard.  That Willett blood sometimes got him in trouble but Shaun had a kind heart.

Shaun enjoyed spending time Barbecuing, fishing, holiday’s with his family.  He hung out with his friends just cruising around blaring his music as loud as it would go.  Shaun tinkered with cars while throwing out of few choice words, it helped him fix the car better.

Shaun is survived by his daughters, Amanda Wright, Marissa Willett,  his siblings, Fred R. Willett of Chariton, Vernon Willett of Corning, Iowa, Darlene (Ed) McCloney , of Chariton, Florence (Troy) Purtle of Chariton.  Many nieces and nephews, extended family, along with lots of friends.
