Ruth M Baker

Ruth Maxine Baker 89, passed away December 19, 2021, at Lucas Co. Health Center in Chariton. 

Ruth was born on April 25, 1932 to Ernest and Elsie Conner in Chariton.  She was married on December 22, 1949 to Hollis Baker in Chariton and were together 66 years till his death in 2016.  From that union they had two sons, Steven and Ronald.

 Ruth loved working genealogy, working tirelessly in her flower garden, and spending time with the family.

 She is survived by her son Steven, grand-daughters, Lisa (Larry) Dyer of Chariton, Kari Cremeens of Corydon, Lori Baker of Corydon, 8 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Hollis and son Ronald.

At Ruth’s request there will be no service.  A private burial will be conducted at a later date in the Chariton Cemetery. 

Her presence in our lives will be forever be cherished and never forgotten
