Robert D. Simcoke, 85, passed away January 15, 2017, born on December 30, 1931 in Peoria, Il to Wilbur Edmund Dolsen and Cora Belle Lowell.

Robert grew up in Stuart and Des Moines, Iowa. Attended Tech High School in Des Moines and graduated while in the United States Marine Corp. On March 28, 1951, he married Margaret Joann Atwell in Nashua, Iowa at the Little Brown Church.  

Robert worked for the Federal Railroad Administration until June of 1996 when he retired. He was a member of the Shriners and the Masonic temple. He enjoyed fishing, camping, sports with his grandchildren and most of all being a good father and husband.

Preceding Robert in death were his parents and wife Margaret. Left to cherish his memories are son Jon (Kyla) Simcoke, granddaughters Alexandra and Jessica Simcoke of Wentzville, MO.  Son Robert (Carolyn) Simcoke Jr., grandsons Robert 3rd and Brian Simcoke of St. Charles, MO. Son Tim Borchert of Winfield, MO.
