Norma Jeanne Bishop Chipp was born November 8, 1930 to Dave and Nora Bishop where she was one of twelve children. Norma, peacefully, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Norma was united in marriage to Robert Francis Chipp on January 7, 1950 in Russell, Iowa. They settled in the countryside of Lucas, Iowa where they were proud to be farmers. To this union, five children were born: Robert Francis Jr., Debra Sue, Pamela Jean, Julie Ann, and Angela Kay.

Norma was known as Jean to some and Grandma Chipp to not only her grandchildren, but to a lot of folks that walked thru the doors at C and C Cycle, where she worked for many years. She was a great cook and loved to make everyone feel special. It was not uncommon to walk into the house as she was pulling your favorite cookie out of the oven for your birthday or just because you were coming to visit. She loved music, to travel with family and friends, and ride behind her son on the motorcycle. She was a strong, independent woman, believed that there is good in everyone and no matter what, you never, ever give up. She has experienced and accomplished a lot in life but she would want you to know that her family is what was most important to her. She was one of a kind and will be dearly missed.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her siblings. She is leaving behind generations of loved ones, her five children Robert (Mary), Debra (Jim) Andersen, Pamela (Don), Julie (Blaine) Gnos, Angela, her 15 grandchildren, her 26 great grandchildren, and a host of family of friends.
