The life of Mickey Byrd was one filled with love, happy memories, and amazing days. Mickey loved deeply and would do anything and go anywhere for the ones he loved. I count anyone who knew him as the luckiest people on the planet. He gave so many people amazing lives and always made sure all of his loved ones had everything we needed and more.
Mickey was one of the funniest people that I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around and was full of life and joy until the very end.
Mickey was 73 years old when he passed and even after retiring he never stopped working. Whether it was one of his projects or something around our house he always stayed active and took care of us.
He loved football, the Denver Broncos in particular, animals, Hawkeye Rum, and partying. But there was nothing he loved more than his wife of 41 years, Carol Byrd. She meant more to him than anyone in this entire world.
He had 3 amazing daughters by the names of Angel, Alisha, and Cheyenne alongside his incredibly loved granddaughters Raelynn, Everleigh, Harper, and Hayden.
He had multiple sons by the names of Dakota, Christopher, Billy, Charlie, and Cory while also having a son-in-law by the name of Derrick who he loved just as much as his real blood. Everyone just listed felt the amazing impact of having him in our lives and some simply having life because of him. Mickey Allen Byrd was the most caring and honest man I have ever met.
For everyone out there who has an amazing person like Mickey in their life, please take a moment, hug them, tell them how much you appreciate them and make as many memories as you can because in the end, memories are all you will truly have.
