Maureen Kittle Obituary

Maureen (Renie) Elizabeth Brown was born on October 10, 1952 to Ira Edwin and Mary Marcelene Glastow Brown.  She left us on September 14th at the age of 66 years the youngest of eight children.

She was united in marriage to Gary Dean Kittle on November 21, 1969 and to this union one son Daniel eugene was welcomed.

She was in Colorado with Gary while he served his country in the Army.  After his discharge they returned home to Chariton.  She worked at the telephone company for several years until her health started to decline.

She accepted this and just concentrated on the greatest loves of her life, her son and grandchildren. Yard work and cooking wonderful meals and keeping a spotless house.  If you didn’t know her very well you would swear her perfume of choice was Clorox.

Renie had a lot of serious health problems but she faced each and everyone with strength and determination. No matter how bad her pain was she greeted every morning with a smile on her face. It is this beautiful smile we are going to miss most of all.  This smile showed how much she loved us.

After her stroke she could no longer do even simple things she liked to do so she found other things she could do . She loved her family and life too much to ever quit trying to live, but after five years of pain and weakness her wonderful heart so full of love could beat no more.  She closed her eyes and went to sleep.  She left us but she also left us some wonderful memories .  So with sadness and tears we say good-bye little sister. You were and are loved.  She was preceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, one sister, and Randy a very special nephew.

Leaving behind to remember her in tears and laughter are her son Dan, Grandchildren Vitali Scott Kittle, and Lydia Renae Kittle. Brothers Edwin James (Carol) Brown, Charles (Gloria) Brown, Dennis (Phyllis) Brown, Darwin (Dawn) Brown. Sisters Sabina(Fred) DeJong, Jewell Lemon. Lots of nieces and nephews and one very special niece Mary with whom she shared lots of secrets and special times for forty years. Memorials may be made to the family.
