Leahdel Elaine (May) Page

Leahdel (Leah) Elaine Page, 84 years old, of Dallas Center, Iowa, has passed away and is now with her Savior.  After an 18 day stay at West Lakes Mercy Hospital, Leah was taken to Kavanaugh Hospice House and passed away on January 28, 2022. 

Leah was born at Chariton, Iowa on June 29th, 1937 to Leonard and Mildred May of Derby, Iowa.  She worked as a nurse most of her life, first as an LPN and then as an RN.  She retired from Broadlawns Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. But more than anything, she was a loving and caring mother of five children, an aunt to many nieces and nephews and Grandma to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Leah is survived by her sons; Richard (Barbara) Roberts of Plymouth, MN, Mark (Misty) O’Leary of DeSoto, IA and James (Jessica) Page of Altoona, IA.  She is also survived by her brother, Dwaine (Sherry) May of Osceola, IA.  Leah is also survived by countless, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Leah was predeceased by; her son, Michael Bruce O’Leary and daughter, Robbin Lynne Welch.  Additionally, she was preceded in death by her Father, Leonard May, her mother Mildred May, stepmother, Audrey May, sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Dennis Morris.

Funeral services will be held at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, IA on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.  Visitation will be that day from 10:00am until 12:00pm.  The service will start at 12:00.

Our mom lived a spiritual life and now she rests with the Lord.
