Larry Weston Grove

Larry W. Grove, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his home in Perry, Iowa.  He was born on January 23, 1940 in Corydon, Iowa to Robert Roy and Lois Allene Grove.  Larry attended Corydon School until the 9th grade.  He later moved in with his sister and brother-in-law, Deloris and Paul Curtis. 

Larry took a job as a construction worker, where he worked in California, Missouri, and Iowa.  He was married three times.  First marriage was to Roseanne Seamas to this union a daughter was born Wanda Jean (Hurley) Grove of California. His second marriage was to Sammie Marie Northcutt of Lebanon, Missouri, to this union two daughters were born, Samantha Jo Grove and Lois Allene Grove both of Lebanon, Missouri.  Third wife was to Evelyn M. Howell to this union two children were born Lareana Grove and Larry Grove Jr. both of Perry, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Roy and Lois Allene Grove, daughter, Samantha Jo Grove, wife Evelyn Grove, sisters, Deloris Curtis, Juanita Chamberlain, Nancy Askren, brothers, Robert Grove, Charles “Chuck” Grove, nephew Randall Grove.

Larry enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, watching John Wayne, Nascar, listening to Johnny Cash and other country favorites.

Left to cherish his memory is his 4 children, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, family and friends. He will be missed dearly.
