Kelly Jo Martin age 64, passed away, Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Kelly was born, September 17, 1960 to LaVerne and Marilyn (Hawk) Martin in Ramstein Military Base in Germany. She went to school and graduated from Chariton High School in 1980.

Kelly loved spending time with her children. Shadee Brooks, Trinity Dawn and Zachary David Levi, her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed working on her diamond art projects and she would always lend a hand to anyone who would need it. She cared about people and always wanted to help. Kelly was 9 years sober and had many AA friends, she was loved by all who knew her. Everyone will always remember her contagious laugh. Kelly will be greatly missed by many.

Kelly is survived by her children, Shadee (Kevin) Tucke, from Osage, Trinity (Brian) Murrow, from Des Moines, Zachary Murrow, from Leon, her eight grandchildren, her 4 great-grandchildren and her brother, Brian Martin and many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne and Marylin (Hawk) Martin, her sister, Kim Martin and her brother, Roger Martin.
