Joyce Lavada Felles

Joyce Lavada Felles was born on August 30, 1960 to Raymond and Charlotte (Starmer) Miller in Des Moines, Iowa.  She passed away March 1, 2021 at the Accura Healthcare in Knoxville, Iowa.

Joyce grew up and attended North High School in Des Moines, Iowa. She was blessed with two sons, Joseph and Daniel Hickcox. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, loved taking care of the people in need. Joyce was a very generous person, she would give the shirt off her back if would help.  In the year 2000, Joyce was disabled and had to retire.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing bingo, going to the casino, doing crafts, loved her dog Clyde. Joyce will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Left to mourn her lost is her children, Joseph and Daniel Hickcox of Chariton, Iowa, brother Ray Miller of Dayton Beach, FL, sister, Rhonda Fronheiser of Chariton, Iowa, grandchildren Kimberly and Emma Hickcox of Chariton, Iowa.

Preceded her in death are her parents, Ray Leroy and Charlotte June Miller, grandmother, Betty June Starmer, brothers Gene and Roland Miller.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  On line condolences may be left at www.fieldingfuneralhome.com.
