Jeff L. Allen

Jeffery L. Allen was bon on October 28th ,1966 and past away June 1st ,2019.

Son of Dorothy and Donald Allen, and brother of Angie Johnson, Brian, Marvin, and Rodney Allen,  

Jeff lived most his life in Chariton, IA. He attended school in the Chariton district and graduated in 1987.

While in school his interest were art, drama, metals, and small engines. While he helped play production it lead him to become a thespian in one year.

In Jeff’s school years Mrs. Helen Krutsinger and Mr. Paul Allen helped guide him and made a great influence on his life.

After high school he worked at Iowa Assemblies for 10 years, Furnace in Osceola Foods for 11 years, Quiktron for 8 years until it closed. Which made him decide he wanted a career change and went back to school.

He enrolled at Vatterott in power sports program. Which is a 40 week program with hands on learning. Jeff felt with the help from his teacher he achieved this goal. After Jeff graduated he then went off and got a job at Pella Corp. on the assembly line.

Preceded in death by his father Donald Allen, his infant brother Doug Allen, Grandfathers Clede Mitchell and Clarence R. Allen, grandmothers W. Berenice Bay Mitchell, and Mable M. Wolfe Allen, uncles Lloyd E Mitchell and Dee Goering, and aunt Edith L Mitchell Wilson.

Survived by his mother Dorothy Allen (Chariton, IA), brothers Marvin(Trinity)Allen (Oskaloosa, IA), Brian Allen (Fort Collins, Co), Rodney(Nikki) Allen (Chariton, IA), sisters Angela Johnson (Chariton, IA),

Debra Stevens (Colfax, IA) nephews Kevin(Christina)Allen (Allerton, IA), Curt Allen (Chariton, IA), Grant Allen (Oskaloosa, IA), nieces Vada Abrahamson (Ankeny, IA), Emma Abrahamson (Chariton, IA),  nephews Levi Allen (Chariton, IA), Danny Stevens Jr (Colfax, IA), David Stevens (FL), Dennis Stevens       (Ft. Walton Beach FL), Daryl Stevens (Ft. Walton Beach FL), and also twenty-three cousins.
