Jane Young Pillsbury, 68, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Mercy One in Des Moines, Iowa.  Jane was born on September 18, 1954 in Chariton, Iowa to Jack H. and Frances E. (Wilhite) Young. She attended and graduated from Chariton High School. Then Jane attended AIB College of Business.

On October 3, 1980 she was united in marriage to Michael Norton Pillsbury. To this union four children were born, Jamie, Ashley, Charles and Bevin. Jane was a wonderful, caring mother and homemaker. 

She enjoyed reading, cooking, cross-stitching, swimming and music. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Frances Young, cousin, Brad Young.

Left to mourn her memories are her husband, Michael Pillsbury, children, Jamie (Desiree), Charles, Ashley (Adam), Bevin (Dylan), grandchildren, Miles, Elise, Hadley, Jack, Bodie, Norton, Remi and Bash, sisters, Kay Ruepke, Lynn (Pat) Carrico, Sue Crist and nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be held from 2-5pm on Saturday April 1st held at:  18376 US HWY 34, Chariton IA 50049. In Lieu of flower, donations could be made at the Chariton Public Library in Chariton, Iowa. On line condolences may be directed to www.fieldingfuneralhome.com.
