Gerald "Bud" Shenefield Obituary

Gerald “Bud” Shenefield was born October 18, 1933 to Charles and Erma (Rumple) Shenefield in Iowa. He passed peacefully away August 6, 2020 at Southern Hill Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa. Gerald “Bud” met and was united in marriage to Dorothy Vivan Edginton in 1954. He was in the Army and they traveled for two years until he was discharged. To this union two children were born Debra and Steven. They bought a farm in SE Russell, Iowa where they farmed and raised their family. Bud is survived by his children Debra Jones and Steven (Brenda) Shenefield, his siblings, Jeanie Vanderpol, Richard “Dick” Shenefield, Sharon Marshall, Larry and Phil Shenefield. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Erma Shenefield and his wife Dorothea Shenefield. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Liberty Cemetery, Osceola, Iowa.
