He was very close to his in-laws, Jack and Juanita Leonard and considered them second parents. He later married Pam Chipp and after retiring from Hy-Vee, worked part time at Scheels. Fred was so many things to his beloved family. A voice of reason and comfort, care giver, mediator, his Dad’s weekend farm hand, father and grandpa, always there for his family, and always far side jokes to you smile and laugh.
