Evelyn Duckworth Rounds, 80, of Chariton passed away, Monday, June 17th, 2024 at Lucas County Health Center.

Evelyn was born on November 29, 1943 to Ruth (Wright) Gregory and James Wright.  She received her education from Chariton High School graduating in 1962.  On June 8, 1962, Evelyn was united in marriage to Marvin Duckworth and they had two children, Brenda and Kevin. 

Evelyn worked both on the farm and various jobs outside the home with her favorite being the kids school bus and sporting events driver. Many a fond memory was made attending her kid’s events.

Survivors include her children: Brenda Campbell and husband Dennis of Corydon, Kevin Duckworth and wife Anita of Russell, four grandchildren: Michael (Katie) Duckworth of Russell, Hannah (Andrew) Presley of Columbia, MO, Cody (Monica) Campbell of Bondurant, IA and Katelyn Campbell of Spring, TX. Great-grandchildren Lillian, Adalie and Tucker Duckworth, William and James Presley, Baylor and Breck Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Gregory and James Wright and husband Buster Rounds.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 22nd  at Fielding Funeral Home from 2- 4:00 p.m.
