Edward Charles Cooper, son of Betty Cooper Lane and Ardery "A.J." Cooper, was born on September 23, 1962, in Chariton, Iowa, and passed away on June 9, 2026, at Kavanagh Hospice House at the age of 63.
Ed had a love for travel and especially enjoyed spending time with friends on many memorable vacations to the Caribbean islands. He cherished the friendships and experiences that brought him so much joy throughout his life.
Ed is survived by his daughter, Jena Otero, and her husband, Emanuel; and his beloved grandchildren, Jacari and Mila.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and A.J. Cooper, and his son, Jason Cooper.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Fielding Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers were Emanuel Otero, Stefan Crouse, Lynn Kramer, Kevin Tiemens, Kyle Christensen, and David Liska.
