Donabelle Marie (Joy) Graham, 84, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at The Arbors Memory Care Facility in Columbia, Missouri. Donabelle was born on November 20, 1939 in Lucas County to Fred and Vera (Patterson) Joy. She graduated from Humeston High School in 1956.

On December 16, 1956, Donabelle married the love of her life Kenneth Graham in Marne, Iowa. To this union were born three sons, Brian, Allan, and Thad. Kenneth and Donabelle lived on a farm by Humeston, Iowa, where they raised their boys. She helped with the farming and took great pride in providing for her family. Donabelle also served as the office manager for Humeston Livestock Exchange for over 35 years.

On July 25, 2023 her beloved husband Kenneth passed away after 66 years of marriage. They had a happy and fulfilled life with lots of family to share that with.

Donabelle was a member of the Humeston Christian United Methodist Church in Humeston, Iowa. She also was a member of Rebekahs, a service organization that strives to bring happiness to others and promotes “Peace on Earth.” Her hobbies were gardening, cooking, and baking. She excelled at all of them. Her cinnamon rolls have yet to be duplicated.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Vera Joy, her husband, Kenneth Graham. Donabelle is survived by her brother Merle Joy, her sister Shirley Fouche, her sons, Brian (Sandy) Graham of Columbia, MO, Allan (Gina) Graham of Urbandale, IA, Thad (Kris) Graham of Larkspur, CO, her grandchildren, Andy (Rachel) Graham, Jake (Rhett) Bellon, Amanda Hamar, Sarah Hamar, Hoss Hamar, Aaron Graham, Jordan (Lauren) Graham, John Lankford, Brenden Lankford, her six great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
