Cortney Rae (Davis) Davies, age 47, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2024, at the Lucas County Heath Center in Chariton, Iowa.  She was born on March 6, 1977, to DeMaris (Wright) Hawkins and Terrance (Terry) Davis in Grinnell, Iowa. Cortney attended Brooklynn (BGM) Schools then her senior year moved to Malcolm, Iowa.

On October 2, 2004, she was united in marriage to Dusty Davies in Malcom, Iowa. This year they celebrated their 20-year anniversary. To this union they had two daughters, Heaven and Isabella.

Cortney loved gardening, creating and tinkering with her husband. She enjoyed watching plays and musicals. Cortney also enjoyed traveling, going to concerts with her family. She liked to Brag about how her husband would deck out their yard which they won award for his efforts.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her husband Dusty.

Cortney left to mourn her loss is her daughters, Heaven (Brandon Abbas) Lorenz of Osceola and Isabella Davies of Chariton, her parents, Paul and DeMaris Hawkins of Montezuma, her father, Terry Davis of Cedar Rapids, her brother, Shane Davis of Malcom, her two sisters, Amanda (Ben) Pierce of Grinnell, Kaylee Davis of Cedar Rapids and her mother-in-law, Linda Cowen of Chariton.

Memorials may be directed to her daughters, Heaven Lorenz and Isabella Davies.
