Constance J Tennant

Constance J. Tennant, age 86, passed away on February 7, 2023 at Trinity Center Lutheran Park.  Constance was born on September 2, 1936 to Joyce C. and Marguerite R. (Robinson) Tennant in Chariton, Iowa.  She was raised and lived in Chariton until Constance graduated from the Chariton High School.  She received her Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Constance also took additional classes, accounting, personal computer, creative writing.

She began her career at Fairco-Associated Grocers, Inc. in Ankeny, Iowa in May 1965 to July 1991 when she retired.  Starting as cashier (accounts receivable and customer service) working her way to accounting manager. She was very intelligent and a hard worker. She loved to work in the accounting field that was her passion.
