Cleta Mae Spencer, 87, of Lucas died June 13, 2020 at Homestead in Osceola, IA.

Private family service will be held and burial will be at Goshen Cemetery. Memorials contributions may be directed to Every-Step Hospice in Osceola. On line condolences may be left at www.fieldingfuneralhomes.com.

Cleta Mae Spencer, daughter of Charlie E. Mason and Margaret C. Sloan, was born August 30, 1932.  She graduated from Woodburn High School.  On July 11, 1950 Cleta married Dwaine Spencer and to this union was one daughter Deb was born. They have been married for 69 years.  Dwaine and Cleta lived in Lucas, Iowa.   She was a secretary at Banker’s Life and different insurances companies. 

Cleta is survived by her husband Dwaine Spencer, daughter Deb Mathes, grandson Chad Mathes, great-grandchildren Avery, Chase, Tucker, Tanner, and Tristan. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Cleta was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Lillie Mills, Lucille Goodale, Audrey Winn, Gladys Gray and Dorothy Woods, her brothers Delos, Laverne, Joseph, Oren, Verle, Ivyl, and Danny Mason.
