Carolyn Coops

Carolyn Ann Coops was born in Chariton, Iowa on May 7, 1940 to Floydie and Agnes (Ferrick) Gwinn. She went to be with her Lord, Monday, April 30, 2018 at the age of 77 years.

Carolyn graduated from the Lucas High School, Class of 1958. She lived in the California area for 40 years, moving back to Iowa to care for her parents.

Carolyn was described by her family as a loving and caring person. She was very generous with her time and resources to help others in need. She loved the times spent visiting with family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and spending the day with her grandson, Evrett. Carolyn will greatly missed by all who knew and were touched by her life.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Scott (Sherry) Coops; her grandson, Evrett; her sister, Patricia (Leslie) McGinnis; her brothers, Robert (Donna) Gwinn and Garry ( Lonnie) Gwinn; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floydie and Agnes Gwinn.
