Tony Ray Shriver

Tony Ray Shriver, 48, of Williamson IA passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at his home in Chariton. Tony was born on December 7th, 1970 in Chariton, the son of Jerry Wayne Sr “Tub” And Sandra Diane (Briggs) Shriver. Tony as a 1989 graduate of Chariton Community High School. He worked in the construction industry for most of his life and was a proud union member of laborers local 177 in Des Moines.
Tony was a die hard Steelers and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He loved to mushroom hunt and spend time with family and friends. He especially loved to be with his two children, Taylor, 24, and Tate, 11. Tony had an unbelievable sense of humor and was the center of attention anywhere he went. He knew how to make people laugh and would do anything for his loved ones. 
He is survived by his two children Taylor Lafollette of Indianola and Tate Shriver of Osceola, his parents Jerry “Tub” And Sandra (Briggs) Shriver of Williamson, his brother Jerry (Tammy) Shriver of Indianola, his two sisters Sheryl (Matt) Smith of Williamson and Cindy (Willy) Amos of Mt. Pleasant, his nephews Dillon Rough, Dalton Rough, Dustin Amos, and Carter Amos, his nieces Casey (Smith) McCaul, Ashley (Shriver) Ferguson, and Rylee Amos, along with several cousins.
Tony is proceeded in death by grandparents Ivan and Babe Shriver, Roy and Louise Briggs, along with several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday July 14th at 1:00 PM at the Williamson Community Center in Williamson IA. Memorials may be sent to Sandy and Tub Shriver at 501 S Main St. Williamson, IA 50272.
