Paul N. Hutchison

Paul Nathan Hutchison, 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 7, 2019 at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Paul was born on June 12, 1957 in Long Beach, CA to Charles Everett Hutchison Sr. and Lillian Mae Maloy.

Paul graduated from Paramount High School in Southern California. Then he later became a truck driver and took his retirement in 2018. He spent his early years of an adult life in Paramount, CA, and then Missouri and the last few years of his life was in Iowa.

Paul was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In Paul’s early days he enjoyed camping, fishing, riding bikes with his children and also his Harley. As Paul grew older he added a few more interests in his life like farming, gardening, riding his Harley, and most importantly spending time with his family and loved ones.

Preceded in death by his parents Charles Hutchison Sr. and Lillian Mae Maloy, two of his brothers Charles Hutchison Jr. and Edward Hutchison, and his nephew Travis Hutchison.

Paul is survived by his loving Children Heather (Ron) Cervera and Nathan (Jessica)  Hutchison, by his brother LeRoy Hutchison, sister-in-law Ann Hutchison, and loving companion Jacki Torres. Paul will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Bennett, Kalie Bennett, Hannah Hoyle, Sophia Cervera, Jaycee, Lucien and Larson Hutchison and one great-grandchild Ava Bennett. He also leaves behind other loving family members and friends who will sadly miss him and will carry his memory in their hearts, because all of them he loved and touched their hearts deeply.

Paul will forever be remembered for his caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. Although, our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort he is watching over us.
