Leta A. Grgurich, 90, passed away August 14, 2017 at the Good Samaritan House in Indianola, Iowa.

Leta was born September 12, 1926 to Harry (Mose) and Stella McDowell in Tipperary, Iowa. She was raised in Chariton with her sisters Mary Alice and Carol and her brother Fred.

In 1953, she married Steve Grgurich and together they raised three sons; Fred, Steve and Randy.

Leta loved sports and was an avid reader she always kept herself informed on world news and politics. She was devoted to her family, spending countless hours at ball games, school programs and various activities for her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Steve, sisters Mary Alice Abel and Carol Epp, and brother Fred McDowell. She is survived by her sons Fred (Anita), Steve and Randy (Colleen), 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
