KATHRYN PATRICIA (Bellis) RYAN Kathryn P Ryan, 90, passed peacefully at home in Chariton, Iowa on Saturday, July 6, 2019. Kathryn was born December 2. 1928 to John and Anna (Zondor) Bellis in Weller Iowa. She married George W Ryan on February 22. 1949 at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Weller, Iowa. She and George lived and farmed west of Melrose until 1989 when she moved to Chariton. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, and brother John Bellis, sisters Marie Kinnaird, Lucille Golob, Helen Baxter, and two infant children, Victoria and Robert. She is survived by daughters Linda Silverio and Pat Ryan, and sons Jim (Diane) Ryan, Thomas (Virge) Ryan and Paul Ryan. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Matthew Ryan, Stephanie Ryan, Paul Silverio, Victor Silverio, Jr, Tuesday Ryan Hart, Heather Christensen, and Patrick Ryan. Also surviving are eight great grandchildren, Colin, Katelyn, and Logan Ryan, Txordon Silverio, Zane and Eily Ryan Hart, Liam and Cody Christensen, and former daughter-in-law Cathy Hayes. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Hospice Legacy Lodge. Services will be held Tuesday July 9, 2019 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Melrose Iowa, officiated by Father Timothy Armbruster. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on July 8, 2019 at Fielding Funeral Home with Rosary beginning at 6 pm. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery following services. Bearers are Paul Silverio, Victor Silverio, Matthew Ryan, Patrick Ryan, Randy Grgurich, and Brad Sinclair.
