Jimmie Nolan Obituary

Jimmie Rae Nolan was born 9 February 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Frank and Rose Logsdon Lingle. Jimmie was born the fifteenth of sixteen children. Jimmie gained her angel wings on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Circle of Life Legacy Lodge located in Chariton at the age of 70 years . In life Jimmie gave of herself to her Savior.

Jimmie met the love of her life, William Robert Nolan, whom she was united in marriage to, on 17 March 1973. To this union they were blessed with three daughters, Jean Ann of Chariton, Iowa, Tina Marie of Surprise, Arizona, and Teresa Sue of Chariton, Iowa. Jimmie and Bud raised their daughters in Des Moines, Iowa, until relocating their family to Lucas.

Jimmie was blessed with five grandchildren, Mark Alan Stansbery (Annette), Ashley Jean Ferguson (Michael II), Travis Anthony Hernandez-Nolan (Christy), Cody Dean Robert Roush, and Cory Rae Ryan Roush (Delaney). She was further blessed through the years with six great-grandchildren, of which she was especially proud of, Madison, Kyle, Antonio, Jenna, Kobain, and Briar.

Jimmie enjoyed gardening, canning what she harvested, as well as collecting multiple cookie jars. Jimmie especially loved the Christmas season, of which she collected many a snowman.

Left to cherish the memory of Jimmie is the love of her life Bud. Her sister, Betty Robinson, of Osceola, Iowa, as well as her children. A host of nieces and nephews, as well as close friends are left to cherish the memories that they have shared with Jimmie through the years.

Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rose, as well as a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family wishes that any memorials made in Jimmie’s name be made to Circle of Life Legacy Lodge, located at 220 Northwestern Ave, Chariton, Iowa 50049. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to all that have shared in the life of their wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The family is forever grateful to Jimmie’s friend Carol Umble. Thank you for all you have done for both our parents.
