Jean Kay Morr

Jean Kay Morr, 80, of Chariton, passed away peacefully at the Wayne County Hospital on Tuesday, February
27, 2018 in Corydon, Iowa.

Jean Kay Smith was born on May 7, 1937 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Kay was the daughter of Bill and Mary
Margarette Smith. She graduated from Chariton High School and then later attended the University of
Colorado. Throughout Kay’s life she held a career as a flight attendant for Pan American World Airways. She
also worked at El Rancho in Evergreen, Colorado and Hy-Vee in Chariton, Iowa. Kay was a generous,
hardworking lady who took great pride in everything she did.

Kay was married to Judge Richard Morr in 1956 and they were blessed with four children: Margarette,
Suzanne, Rick, and Mary Kay. Kay loved to travel, the outdoors, and spending time with her family, friends,
and her sweet dog Katie. She also enjoyed contributing to a variety of charities. Kay had a heart of gold. She
lived her life with faith following God’s word.

Kay is survived by her children: Margarette Morr, Suzanne (Greg) Humphreys, Rick Morr, and Mary Kay (Nick)
Radavich; grandchildren: Madelyn (John) Meyers, Lindsay (Brandon) Stratton, Blake Yocom, Ricky Morr,
Travis (Nicki) Morr, Joe (Crystal) Oxenreider, Nicky Radavich, McCall Radavich, and Levi Humphreys; 8 great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mary Margarette Smith and her brother
Edward Smith.
