Many memories of our mother playing the piano with Don on the trumpet. He was so talented with the trumpet. He will be missed!

On Easter Sunday I cried tears of joy for our risen Savior.  Memories of Don came to mind as I thought about him playing the trumpet each Easter at First Baptist Church.  What fond memories!  He was very talented and my dad especially enjoyed hearing him play too.  i am so sad to learn that Don was not with us to enjoy this Easter.  We all know he is in heaven playing his trumpet and dad is there with him enjoying every note!  Joan...Mark and I send our love and prayers!

Don was a truly admirable man!  He had a spirit that will live on in all the hearts he touched.  I hold him personally responsible for the 'millions' of photos I've taken over the last 32 years! He will definitely be missed.

Our sincerest sympathies to Joan, Bruce and Melissa, and his entire family.  Don was a kind, warm, outgoing gentlemen who we greatly enjoyed seeing and visiting with.  Gary heard more stories from Don about WWII than from his own father and greatly enjoyed them.  Don will be missed and remembered warmly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
May God grant you comfort in the following days, weeks, and months ahead.

Don was a long-time neighbor and wonderful friend to my parents. I loved the photographs of our family that he took and shared with us over the years. I don't think that he ever met a stranger, and I know that he will be missed by many.
