Sorry haven't left message on here for few yrs. This technology makes it easier I can post in Facebook. Which I do alot about u dad John Shaun and now Evelyn. I'm also forgetful and been dealing with mental and physical issues. I miss u all. But I know in my heart that you're all reunited in heaven and I'm sure it's beautiful in every way. My spirit feels the prescense of y'all. Although I'm still somewhat angry about God taking u I try not be confused cuz my faith knows who you'll be with and that we will meet again on the other side. I'm not where I think should be in life but I never lose hope thanks to having my chosen parents. I have strength wisdom and love thanks to u. I'll not give up in this crazy world til my dues are paid. Tough times will end for us all just gotta be tough enough to reach home. Then like Shaun I'll be coming there momma. . I'm a fighter like u. And guess bullheaded like dad 😂 I've been thinking about u both alot tonight today whichever cuz haven't been asleep all night. I think cuz my birthday in little over week. Put in word to God for my grandkids protection going on plane and being away from us while visit other family. And I could use a little help with Dr helping me get relief. I'm at peace cuz u are even though still angers me at times that you're gone. You'll all be watching over us along with the angels so it's all good Well until I see u on the other side I'm going to continue living as u wanted me to. Do the best I can and in that I'll try and make u proud

Darlene, I was saddened to see your mother's name in the Des Moines Register list of recent deaths. I remember your mother coming to meetings at Columbus Elementary to discuss your education. She surely loved you very much, and I know that you will treasure fond memories of her.
