Adalene A. Johnson

Adalene Johnson, 95, died Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice in Chariton.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton.  A one hour visitation will take place prior to the service time on Thursday.

Adalene was born December 18, 1922 in Havelock, Nebraska to Gerald and Effie Adams.  In 1940, she married Clarence Johnson and they later had four children: Patricia, Leslie, Dennis, and Ricky. 

Adalene is survived by her sons, Dennis Johnson of Chariton and Ricky (Cindy) Johnson of Altoona; grandchildren, Scott Gates of Colorado, Todd Johnson of Indianola, Melissa Robinson of Davenport, Tonja (David) Pardun of Ankeny, John DeJoode and Willy DeJoode both of Runnells.  She also is survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence, children Patricia Robertson and Leslie Johnson, grandson Chad Johnson and great-grandson Christopher Johnson.
